- Albabe, Starblind: have you had a chance to review WP:NALBUM, the WP guideline outlining notability requirements for album articles. The key provision is:
All articles on albums, singles or other recordings must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines, with significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject ... Notability aside, a standalone article is only appropriate when there is enough material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged into the artist's article or discography.
- I've researched several Yardbirds' articles, including their discography. I haven't seen any "significant coverage" on Train. Their biographers only reproduce a track listing, without any commentary (similar to your reference). This does not meet the "subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works" criterion of WP:NALBUM. There is simply not enough material from which to develop a "reasonably detailed article" – it is a classic WP:PERMASTUB.

- I have. Let me try to get it together today. I'm under deadline for some Tarzan stuff I'm writing for Dark Horse Comics, but I'll give it my best shot to add those today.
- Actually, I've got every got virtually every book by the Yardbirds... can you suggest what needs to be added to make this more "significant?'

- More album reviews (like the AllMusic review you added), more context (what's significant about Gomelsky, his role, etc.), licensing problems (fight with Charly Records – see Russo The Ultimate Rave-Up pp. 117–120), more description of tracks (writers, first release), which guitarist is on what track, which are live vs. studio vs, demos, etc. An encyclopedic article should be more than an almost bare track list. The article about another YB compilation Ultimate! (a GA) might give you some ideas. —Ojorojo (talk) 17:18, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
- This is not an “almost bare track list” - There are many Wiki articles that have as much or less than this article. For instance, the “Ultimate” page you suggested, started out even more bare bones than this article, and It's been “Adjusted” by at least 20 different “Editors” over the course of 11 years. As is obvious, I just put this Article up.
- As for, “I haven't seen any "significant coverage" on Train…” You likely know as well as I do, that this Box has “virtually” everything that was released by the Yardbirds up to “Roger the Engineer.” All of the Clapton Work, except the Live album, and much of Beck’s. I think it goes without saying that it's “Significant.”
- And it’s rerelease title, The Yardbirds Story’ is seriously “Covered.” I added those links.
- I’m not about to Write a Book Report here. This is an “Open” article that will, I hope, garner some interest from some Wiki Editor Yardbirds Fans, like you seem to be, and will then become a LOT more “Complete” and oh, so, darn glorious. So, since you seem to be occupied with Yardbirds stuff, why don’t you help?
- I’ll change the title of this page to “The Yardbirds Story” “Previously released as Train Kept A-Rollin' – The Complete Giorgio Gomelsky Productions” as soon as I figure out how.

Hey @Starblind
[edit]Is there something I need to do to remove the Main Citation for this page? The article seems pretty complete to me. Maybe I could add another ref? Thanx
