Tokyo Dates of Operations

[edit]

When did it open? Close, any exact dates. I think it is 1994, however it might be 1993 as it was the tenth anniversary of TDL?

Unless someone can prove that there was indeed a showing of the film on 26 FEB 2006, the text "final performance" should be changed to "closing date"

  • I happened to be there from Feb 20-24 and the Time Keeper was closed... with characters in front. Asked a worker, he said "its time is up" and they are probably going to add an Incredibles themed attraction.Mkaycomputer 17:01, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Closing of Timekeeper

[edit]

I've been working here at WDW as a CP since Jan. 9, 2006, and Timekeeper hasn't been open since then. The Times Guide used to read "Operates Seasonally," but now only reads "Temporarily Closed."

- The last runs of Timekeeper were for the Christmas rush of 2005. I was one of the last cast members to work on that attraction prior to closing. It was a classic ride and I'm sad to see it gone. 12.201.133.32 07:55, 10 March 2007 (UTC) Nichole L[reply]

Church of the Subgenius references

[edit]

In the WDW version there was a technical readout of 9-Eye in the que area that showed her components, including a "Yacatisma Drive" and a "Thermo-bobulator". Not sure of the exact spelling used, though.

Different English Voice Actors in Paris

[edit]

Who did the voice for Timekeeper in the Paris version's English dub? It sounded similar to the Dad in Carosel of Progress.

-I'm not sure it would be the Father from Carousel of Progress since the actor was taken out of retirement for the revamp of COP and has since passed (hence the hesitation to update COP). 12.201.133.32 07:57, 10 March 2007 (UTC) Nichole L[reply]

-I'd heard the "Dad"-type voice back at EuroDisney around 1991 or so. Its at least a good way to describe the delivery. Sorta like the style used for the Dad in Horizons, too.

Should the article be Paris-themed?

[edit]

The article as it is very much about the American version of the ride, with mentions afterwards of the changes to the French version. Since this opened first (ie the original) should the article be about the French version and then mention afterwards the differences in the American version? 129.12.98.76 12:35, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of the addition of several Info Boxes

[edit]

I reverted the article to its original state of April 29, until one info box could be created. With several, it clutters the article, and all of the attraction info is better understood under the "Attraction Info" without having to delete information--Randomgbear 04:35, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The infoboxes are what we are working and so for agreeing on at Wikipedia:WikiProject Disney, and besides that you removed two references and various other fixes to the article that I made a while back. --blm07 05:50, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that. When I read the article, I thought all that was added was info boxes, only now going back, did I see that you had add some new references and fixed typos and some other parts of the article. Sorry about the info boxes too, I probably should have discussed them before taking them off. --Randomgbear 22:02, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
