External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on The Crests. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Dispute[edit]

There seems to be a clear dispute over the current membership of this group, with sources stating that JT Carter is still in the group and has made statements distancing himself from Peter Lemongello Jr,; and a new editor claiming that Lemongello is in the group and that Carter is not. Rather than continuing to edit war, the editor who wants to change the content (BillyB1950) is asked to explain the changes they are proposing here on the talk page and provide reliable, independent secondary sources for them. Pinging Vinylstud97 who has also recently edited. Melcous (talk) 06:01, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have added sources for everything posted, but still you (Melcous) insist on deleting my contributions and leaving unsourced information. BillyB1950 (talk) 06:01, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I want to fix this page so it can be accurate. Harold "Chico" Torres is deceased. Please check the source I had attached. Why do you keep deleting it? Also, why do you keep taking down a picture of The Crests from 2017?

You keep making one single edit that has multiple problems contained within it (and you have now broken the WP:3RR again). If you want to make a single change to note the death of Torres with a source that might be accetpable. But your edit also contains changing the membership of the group without providing a reliable source; incorrect formatting (see MOS:HEAD); and replacing paragraphs that are sourced with other paragraphs with different sources that are unclear. This disputed content is about the current situation regarding Carter and Lemongello and that is what this discussion is for. You have changed the content, and have been reverted by three different editors. The onus is now on you to explain here why it should be changed. Wikipedia works by consensus, so unless other editors agree with you, simply changing it to your preferred version over their objections is just going to lead to you being blocked again. The information I have contributed to this Wiki is accurate and sourced. I do not believe “BillyB1950” is some fan, but rather Lemongello himself. He keeps removing information pertaining to the fact that he is not a member of this group, but rather a Tribute group, and JT Carter is now a solo act, both points proven in the sources I had added. Just because you dont like the sources doesn’t mean they’re “meaningless”. -Vinylstud97
