License
[edit]Hello, just a quick question and if you would be so kind as to give me feedback I would very much appreciate it. I was with the Houston Police Department from 1979 to 1988. I relocated out of Texas and presently live in the state of Arkansas. When I was with HPD I received a wallet size card from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education. The card has my name, SSN, with the printed words saying "This PERMANENT LICENSE AS A PEACE OFFICER by the authority of Art.4413 (29aa)VACS". I am just wanting to know that since I am no longer in law enforcement is the license I have null and void? Or, would this license cover me for carrying a concealed weapon in Texas or in the state I presently live, Arkansas?
Thank for you for time and feedback...You can contact me via e-mail at: [email protected] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.221.48.10 (talk) 19:42, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
