What happened with this innovation? It appears that a Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge was given in 1999. On ACS's [Green Chemistry Educational Resources green chemistry educational resources page], there's a section "Bleaching With Green Oxidation Chemistry" dedicated to this innovation which mentions its use in laundry. And it is mentioned in 2005 on page 378 of Collin & Baird's Environmental Chemistry again as having all this potential. But there's no mention of how prevalent its use in business is, and no consumer products mention it in laundry that I can find. II | (t - c) 08:24, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
