Please comment on the present contents of the article Tagbilaran City. How else to improve it?--Pinay06 01:08, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It needs a (1) Gallery update, (2) Current and future development plans section, and probably (3) Separation of institutions into another topic (or not). With regards to the gallery, I can do that. Will be going home by June this year for 2 weeks. Majuro (talk) 09:53, 12 April 2010 (UTC), Local Timezone 21:48, 12 April 2010 (UTC+12)[reply]
Good to hear that! That will be sooo much appreciated. Pinay (talkemail) 17:14, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

<Cityname> <City>

[edit]

There is a discussion regarding the removal of the word "city" from the article titles of Philippine cities. This may imminently affect the article name for Tagbilaran. For city names which are not unique, disambiguation alternatives are also being presented. Formal request for page move may follow after a reasonable time of discussion. If you wish to participate, please post your comments here. --JinJian (talk) 04:38, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tagbilaran CityTagbilaran — Part of series of multiple page move requests involving Philippine cities under the category General rule -> eliminate the word “city” from the name of the Philippine cities except those needing disambiguation. This request is made after preliminary discussions for the removal of the word "city" from most of the article titles of Philippine cities and providing disambiguation wherever necessary. Some disambiguation may involve using the <cityname>, <provincename> format, regardless if it is highly urbanized, independent or component cities. In here, <provincename> purports to describe the general area and not necessary as the mother political unit of the city, since some people might have wrongly believed that this naming convention is exclusively for Philippine towns only. For more information please see Wikipedia_talk:Tambayan_Philippines/Task_force_LGU#Article_names_for_Philippine_cities:_.3Ccityname.3E_.3Ccity.3E. JinJian (talk) 07:23, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
