How thick is the material when it says 5-0 (1 metric)

merge with suture

I proposing this be merged with suture, or rethought as a subarticle of suture. It's practically a subarticle already except that it isn't linked from suture and doesn't link back to suture!

• Couold do, but there is definite merit in an article on suture materials. A tabular format, perhaps, with notes of the applications, characteristics and common tradenames? It's not unlikely that someone would want to know what 2-0 Vicryl means, after all. Guy (Help!) 23:21, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
