You have a point ... but that's what the source says. Can you find a reliable source that says that the first mediant is earlier in the first movement? Graham87 03:32, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not for the moment. That's why I put it here and not in the article. :) (A further aspect: the D major (and later minor) can be seen as a kind of 'anchor' to which the subsequent A major is actually dominant.) 83.253.228.202 (talk) 15:50, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
