I edited two errors on this page: Stand and Deliver was NOT released in September 1981, but earlier. It reached No. 1 in May, so how could it have been released in September.

And it stayed at No.1 for FIVE weeks. NOT 3.

Fair use rationale for Image:Stand and Deliver - single.jpg

[edit]

Image:Stand and Deliver - single.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Jeremy Vine

[edit]

Perhaps it should be noted that the BBC Radio 2 Jeremy Vine show uses the start of this song in one of his Idents. 86.128.159.245 (talk) 17:57, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merging/Separation of song articles

[edit]

Please note : There is a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Songs/coverversions with the purpose of trying to establish a standard guideline for merge/separate different versions of the same song. Please make known your opinions on the matter. --Richhoncho (talk) 19:16, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Prince Charming

[edit]

I don't view it as correct to say that this song was from the album Prince Charming. It had already gone to number one, then was issued on the album Prince Charming. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.54.246.253 (talk) 09:55, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

yesterday when I was mad

[edit]

Does anybodyy think it would be interesting to mention the mid 90s song "yesterday when I was mad" here? I always thought the similarities are astounding in terms of delivery of lyrics. 85.178.235.140 (talk) 15:57, 20 October 2018 (UTC)85.178.235.140 (talk) 15:58, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
