Copyright/plagiarism concerns.[edit]
I am concerned that this article too closely follows the original texts given, one of which was not given as a citation, though clearly it was the original.
Article "which President George W. Bush signed two weeks after the 9/11 attacks to obstruct terrorist funding) by the US of individuals, businesses, charities, and extremist groups engaged in terrorist activities"
Source "which President Bush signed two weeks after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks to obstruct terrorist funding. It authorizes the United States to identify individuals, businesses, charities and extremist groups engaged in terrorist activities."[1]
Article "to block the assets of individuals and entities that provide support, services, or assistance to, or otherwise associate with, terrorists and terrorist organizations designated under the Order, as well as their subsidiaries, front organizations, agents, and associates"
Source (which is not cite) "to block the assets of individuals and entities that provide support, services, or assistance to, or otherwise associate with, terrorists and terrorist organizations designated under the Order, as well as their subsidiaries, front organizations, agents, and associates." - What would you change? That wouldn't change it from the statute? And is it plagiarism under applicable U.S. intellectual property/copyright law if it is in a U.S. statute, or is that a safe harbor from a plagiarism claim? Would you change the President's name, the number of weeks, the statutory language, phrase "order"?--Epeefleche (talk) 02:02, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Obsolete categorization[edit]
The treasury department now maintains a list, SPECIALLY DESIGNATED NATIONALS AND BLOCKED PERSONS, that has (apparently) replaced the 'Specially Designated Global Terrorist' list. Attempt to go to the preceding list, using the link on the Article page, and you will find it does not any longer exist.Haberstr (talk) 20:21, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
