Reference to Monty Python record[edit]

The article says of the phrase "Something for the weekend" that, "the first known recorded example is from a sketch by the Monty Python comedy team on a 1972 record." The text "1972 record" links to Let's Make Up And Be Friendly by the Bonzo Dog Band.

As far as I know there is no "Let's Make Up And Be Friendly" by "the Monty Python comedy team" so I believe this is referring either to the wrong comedy team or to the wrong record ... but I don't know which. I have tagged the line "verification needed". Brother Francis 12:38, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The link should be to Monty Python's Previous Record. There might need to be a separate entry for this in the list? Martinevans123 (talk) 15:21, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Barbers[edit]

why in the world would barbers offer condoms?! Mathmo Talk 06:27, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I guess because it was a men-only environment and so less embarrassing than the pharmacy. (FWIW, I last remember seeing condoms on display at the barbers in the mid eighties.) 87.112.66.13 (talk) 10:37, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
