Specialist Passenger Solutions[edit]

Specialist Passenger Solutions is the new name for this company - could the title and page name be changed to reflect this? 86.159.81.11 (talk) 11:40, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'll look into a requested move in a few hours. --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 10:55, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 6 June 2024[edit]

Somerset Passenger SolutionsSpecialist Passenger Solutions – Bus-commuting company from the eponymous area in England. While the official site still uses the "Somerset" moniker (alongside their SPS abbreviation), this official British-corporation database listing has recorded their new name since last June. (Filing on behalf of 86.159.81.11 (talk); as seen at Category:Unassessed articles recently.Seriously, we need a backlog drive for that!) While I am not opposed to the move, is it too soon? The legal lettering on the buses currently reads 'Specialist Passenger Solutions trading as Somerset Passenger Solutions' so the current article name is not incorrect. Some other bus companies with multiple brands have articles for the brands, including the nearby The Buses of Somerset. When, or if, SPS starts operations outside of Somerset would be the time to reassess then whether the other operations are sufficiently notable for their own page in which case we would still need Somerset Passenger Solutions as that would have a very different history. When, or if, SPS starts operations outside of Somerset would be the time to reassess [the rename proposal]...
You're truly reminding me right about now... (From here, I can easily imagine how well this RM episode will turn out anyway.) --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 18:30, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
