One fire helicopter
[edit]does tokyo really only have one fire helicopter?!
What are you talking about? -- Jason Palpatine 05:10, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
sorry, this is the quote: "Apparently, the project is taken very seriously and Tokyo's only fire helicopter has been used in simulation tests to see what the danger would be if a fire were to break out in one of the buildings."
that is true, i just saw it on some tv show today, but not only is it the only helicopter in the world that is designed to fight fires in skyscrapers Jds10912 22:07, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Stunning
[edit]The idea for this building is quite stunning, I watched it on discovery channel. Simply huge, and I'd live in it :)
Not so unrealistic
[edit]Taipei 101? Its not so unrealistic anymore
- Sky City would be 2-3 times the size of Taipei 101, increasing its occupancy (population) and all the associated problems and difficulties exponentially. LordAmeth 20:52, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Vision
[edit]Not only is this a "Vision" according to Emporis (meaning it won't be built), but it was proposed in 1989. --Old Guard 00:14, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
You guys are all idiots. The Mubarak al-Kabir Tower is already under development at nearly twice the height. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.244.69.86 (talk) 09:46, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
How exactly is 1001m double 1000m? The Mubarak al-Kabir Tower is set to be 1001m high, this is proposed for 1000. That said, the Al Jaber Tower is proposed for 1852m, but that's not being built. So if you're gonna call people idiots, at least make sure you're right first.
Radiant City link incorrect
[edit]The Radiant City page currently covers an independent film, not Le Corbusier's book La Ville Radieuse (which is what this article seems to be referring to). Can someone who actually knows more about architecture than I do create a disambiguation page for this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arkaaito (talk • contribs) 11:32, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- I de-linked Radiant City, and typed a hidden message alerting editors not to wikilink it. Creating a disambiguation page for Radiant City is not an issue for this article, and I assume that's what the 'expert' tag is up for, so since Radiant City no longer links to the film, I'll remove the tag. --Pwnage8 (talk) 02:36, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I have made big improvements to the article. --Pwnage8 (talk) 08:40, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
