where is sivergues going?

[edit]

with the new direction of the politics of sivergues one has to really ask where this beautiful rural village is going?

heritage is extremely important the protection of its beauty and its traditions are important, but at what cost when the stones are the only thing that are important and the citizens of the village are not , there has to be a problem.

with the dramatic change of the villages social policy and the new policies in place within the village its social diversity can only suffer,i only hope and dream that the village will continue to invite and welcome new families into its arms and not use the prohibitive pricing within its rents to stop young and low income families from helping this magical place grow and continue to be lived in for another 1400 years

liberty , equality , fraternity

..... important words

the time passes and the summer ends and autumn's softness gives way to winters coldness, and the exodus begins the silent weight of social and emotional pressure takes its toll there were 4 families with children living in the councils (marie) houses now there are only 2 , 5 children and 3 adults have left this beautiful village.

why?

its simple, intollerance and the subtle but ever present energy of what can only be described as a social racism has taken its toll , politics and democracy are important but when a small group of people take control of a village and decide they have a purest vision of what is a society then how can anything grow?

so as winter moves into spring and the sunlight warms the earth will the children of sivergues play in the sunshine ..... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.28.61.182 (talk) 09:56, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
