Bad photo[edit]

I'm not sure the image portrays a single-vehicle accident, it looks like the car has been T-boned to the curb by another, unseen vehicle. --Hooperbloob (talk) 15:30, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I concur. Photo removed.--Triskele Jim 16:42, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

Most single-vehicle crashes are run-offs. I suggest moving the content of that article here.--Triskele Jim (talk) 17:29, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rename to Single-vehicle collision or Single-vehicle crash[edit]

Given that the article includes suicides as a type of incident, it seems odd that the article title includes the word "accident". Thoughts? Vectro (talk) 15:03, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I made this change today. Vectro (talk) 22:32, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Crashes involving bystanders[edit]

Quoting from the article: Crashes with only one motor-vehicle where bystanders (such as pedestrians or bicyclists) are injured are not typically called "single-vehicle," although technically the term does apply. So what term is preferred?

Our best article on the topic currently seems to be Pedestrian safety through vehicle design (which is not the most concise title possible). --SoledadKabocha (talk) 06:00, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
