Introduction and Incomplete Information

[edit]

To be completely transparent, I work at Silver Lake. I chose this username so that my affiliation with my firm is clear and consistent per guidelines on use of company names. I have noticed several places where information about Silver Lake is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and would like to help by providing resources to update Silver Lake’s Wikipedia page. Out of respect for guidelines on conflict-of-interest editing and the importance of a neutral point of view, my intent is to engage here, on the Talk page.

In the page’s infobox, it omits “Key People” which is a standard entry on many other Wikipedia pages of private equity firms.

Silver Lake’s key people today are different from its founders, who are mostly unconnected to the firm’s current operations. Silver Lake’s key people are Jim Davidson, Egon Durban, Mike Bingle, Ken Hao and Greg Mondre, all of whom hold the title Managing Partner.

Can we update this information on the Wikipedia page? The source for this information can be found on the firm website under “Team” as well as third party news sources like this article from Bloomberg News. If I can provide any further explanation of the changes outlined above, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks. Gordon.SilverLake (talk) 14:42, 13 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
