Revert[edit]

I've reverted the recent edit by Jon513 but I would add the information that was added by him back to the article. I think the separation into subsections is warranted enough by the possibility of each shomer warranting its own article. Also the links to Anusim are incorrect, anusim are "converts." The correct term is Onsim (or perhaps onasim), which I don't currently see an article for, although the articles that discuss Bava Kamma/Metziah touch on a lot of information that needs merging or moving at some point. If you feel that the titles would be easier if the article only mentioned the title and then used the english translation throughout, I think that potentially would be acceptable. I'll try to edit back in what I can tell was added, but if I've missed something I apologize. RShnike (talk) 18:39, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need to apologize when improving article. I have no major problem with the current version. Jon513 (talk) 19:09, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shomer Shabbas[edit]

"Shomer" resp. "Shomer Shabbas" from within The Big Lebowski links here. A "Shomer Shabbas" is not somebody, who is "entrusted with the custody and care of another's object", but he/she is somebody obeying the mitsvot for Shabbat. But I regret, I have no reference to a proper text explaining that.--XYZ2023 (talk) 08:58, 26 Jun 2023 (CEST)
