National Park and the FireFox Browser

[edit]

I have removed the disambiguation link from the top of this article since I think it unlikely that a reader will confuse Shiretoko National Park and FireFox 3.1 codenamed Shiretoko. If a reader searches for the term Shiretoko, the reader is directed to the disambiguation page, Shiretoko. Therefore it is unecessary to add an additional disambiguatin tag here. A normal reader will not stumble over this article looking for the browser.imars (talk) 15:22, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think it is fair what you did. This way your "normal" readers will never know what is dedicated to that park. They will probably miss a chance to know about a software in service of more people than the park. Think again. Please put a link back to the software. 67.86.58.205 (talk) 01:06, 19 March 2009 (UTC)WikiCi[reply]

Readers can read the article about the browser to learn that it was named after Shiretoko National Park. Hopefully the browser article links to this article. However, people wanting to learn about the park do not care that a browser was named after it. Nor should this article be used to advertise for a product. imars (talk) 09:44, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
