It's best to hold off this article for now because it's reliant on WP:SYN and jumping the gun. Here's what's been confirmed so far: Toho, Khara, TPC, and Toei are engaging on this as a collaborative project, the title of the project and logo have been revealed. That's it. The announcement did not confirm that these films are now part of one single franchise. Someone saw the word "universe" and automatically assumed it was a shared cinematic universe. Again, the announcement does not confirm this. Keep in mind, Toho and Khara have engaged in cross-over collaborations before, i.e. those Godzilla/Evangelion line of merchandise, that 4-D ride, and Kyoei Toshi. It's best to hold off this article for now until more details emerge as to what this project really is. Armegon (talk) 21:16, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. Khara has just held a Q&A session for Shin Eva's 1st anniversary, Anno has reaffirmed his future plans for Evangelion in particular (which some people speculated were discarded due to some ambiguous comments on the NHK documentary), so I can definitely see SJHU playing a role in that. I'm in the process of getting these translated, but it's all on Twitter. FelipeFritschF (talk)
User:Armegon's cutting down of the article is very good. This is an advantage of it being in mainspace, the WP:SYNTH rules are expected more firmly to be complied with in mainspace, and in draft a fan can get very carried away while being ignored by all others. Thank you! I was afraid my vast trimming/editing would be met with resistance, but I’m glad to see you’re on the same page. I was not opposed to the existence of the article. I was merely opposed to content getting out of hand based on premature conclusions. Armegon (talk) 04:35, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Good. I think new pages get a fair treatment through editing in mainspace, but not in draftspace.
In draftspace, its hard to stop the drafting of any content possibly useful. In Mainspace, all content has to be supported by secondary sources. SmokeyJoe (talk) 04:58, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh! I never knew that. I was unaware what the procedure was when it came to draft space articles. I had no idea if they warranted deletion or not, if the need called for it. Armegon (talk) 07:33, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
