Content in lead[edit]

Hi. There seems to be some dispute over the content of the lead, so I thought I'd outline a few issues about it.

  • phrases such as "winning hearts of fans" are not acceptable. Wikipedia is not a fan site and does not express opinions or use such an informal tone.
  • time relative terms such as "currently" are to be avoided. The reader doesn't know when this was written, and "currently" will only go out of date and be wrong in future.
  • The lead is a summary of the article, naturally it does not list everything that the subject has done or appeared in. So there is no need to keep saying "shows like" when listing a selection of his work.
  • Why say he "was seen" in a show? Seen by who? He was in the show, we don't need to view the situation from an unspecified third party.
