Too many pictures?

[edit]

There seem to be too many pictures in this, and it takes a lot of time in discussing the saga Scream is in beyond her role in it. Only a couple are needed to show her appearance, and any special shots for her, anything more is unnecessary. Tyciol 07:25, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree there are possibly too many pictures, but my main problem is that they are haphazardly placed. I removed the picture of all the symbiotes together, and moved her human pic up to replace it. I also shifted some of the pics around, so that they're a bit more relevant to what they are depicting. I'm hesitant to remove Deathscream.jpg, since I just removed it from the Xenophage page the other day, but the picture of her protecting the kids is more relevant. If it has to go, so be it. I did some good work on this page, but it has been long since mangled beyond comprehension. Disappointing.

The page is pretty good I thought, it's obviously not going to be as efficient as an article over more popular heroes or villains. Theseven7 09:09, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Deathofriot2.jpg

[edit]

Image:Deathofriot2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

multiple issues with this article

[edit]

I have tagged this article with multiple issues. It is not clear that the topic meets general notability guidelines. The character might be important to Spiderman fans, but no independent, reliable (i.e. non-fan, not wiki-sites) sources are cited, and it is not clear that such sources exist. Therefore, a justification for a stand-alone Wikipedia article is lacking. I might suggest that this article be merged into another article, perhaps a list of Spiderman villains, or even Venom (comics) although that has issues as well. Alternatively, the whole article could be deleted, per WP:INDISCRIMINATE.--Smcg8374 (talk) 09:28, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
