I cannot find any written connection between this house/architect and the Bauhaus. At the stage Iwanoff studied in Germany (1941-1946), the Bauhaus was seen as "un-German" by nazi authorities, especially in Munich. Furthermore, the mentioned mentor, Emil Freymuth had official functions in Munich and no known connection to the Bauhaus. Unless a reliable source claims otherwise, my proposal is to stick to "Modernism" and leave the word "Bauhaus" from this article, as it is already the case on the architect's main article: Iwan Iwanoff. --Anneyh (talk) 14:59, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are probably right that the available literature gives no hard evidence on a link between the architect/mentor and Bauhaus. There is a surely week link regarding Emil Freymuth mentioned on a german wikipedia article on Kochel am See. I also remember finding hints regarding Emil Freymuth in papers like "Hochhausdebatten im Banne der Kirchtürme Hoffmann, Lutz" or "Hochhäuser in Deutschland: Zukunft oder Ruin der Städte? herausgegeben von Marianne Rodenstein". But I currently have no access. But yes a direct link between Iwan Iwanoff and Bauhaus does not appear to be mentioned anywhere. So "Bauhaus" should probably be dropped.
