Notability[edit]

The film won "Certificate of Merit for the Third Best Feature Film" at the 12th National Film Awards. NFAs are considered top most awards given by the Govt. of India for Indian cinema. That is sufficient notability of the film. Furthermore, two songs "Solaawa Varees Dhokyacha" and "Kas Kaay Patil Bar Haay Ka" by Sulochana Chavan are extremely famous lavanis. I will try and search web references for those. But even without those, i feel that notability is already established. -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 17:52, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I will leave the notability to others for a 1964 Marathi language film, but I do see that while there are references, they are not set up as an inline citation, and I have added a tag for that problem. --DThomsen8 (talk) 20:22, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, after some more careful reading, I see the inline citation in the first paragraph, so I am changing the tag to more references rather than no references.--DThomsen8 (talk) 20:25, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay! No problem. Someone else can check the notability issue. While you are going through the article, instead of placing a big more references tag on top, can you please place "citation needed" tags wherever you think references are needed? I actually see no need of any further references in this article. (Thats the beauty of filmi articles). -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 20:42, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
