Merged[edit]

As requested by the fellow who created the Nardi Riviera page, I have merged its contents with the SIAI-Marchetti FN.333 article. - Ken keisel (talk) 16:21, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the merge please introduce verifiable and sourced material into the appropriate sections. Probably not all at once! I understand the User:Rlandmann suggested Feel free to expand it in your own words not the same as dumping in text. MilborneOne (talk) 17:12, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The old Nardi article was little more than a stub, and focused on the three pre-production aircraft built by Nardi, not the final production version built by SIAI-Marchetti. This article still needs a lot more information if it's to be of any value. What I've added isn't enough to make it much of an article, but it's significantly better than what little was here before. I've listed the source of my information as the "International Aircraft Directory". I'm sorry, but I don't know how to add individual citations to each piece of information. If someone else can do this it would be much appreciated. This article also still needs a photograph, which perhaps someone can contribute, as well as the rest of the specifications. As for the reference to using the Riviera's engine to upgrade Seabees, that is from first-hand experience, and my communications with Seabee and Riviera owners. I'm not sure how to cite first-hand information on this site, but if someone does please let me know. Please don't continue throwing out all this new information. It makes this article much more useful, though it still could use more. - Ken keisel (talk) 20:01, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tricycle gear[edit]

What was this "In addition, the Riviera is unique among amphibians for using a tricycle landing gear, with the nose gear retracting into the nose and concealed behind two small nose gear doors."? How about

They all have tricycle landing gear, and I'm sure there are many more. Changed the text.--ospalh (talk) 13:23, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How many[edit]

The article states

Most of the 26 built by SIAI-Marchetti were sold to customers in the United States

plus the three built by Nardi makes 29 surely?Petebutt (talk) 20:39, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Surviving Aircraft[edit]

Most of this section seems pretty non-notable. I'll delete if no one objects here soon. Retswerb (talk) 07:51, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
