[edit]Very sorry if this is not the right way to be going about this, but I am an indirect customer of SCANA and it has always driven me crazy not knowing what the name stood for. The article states "The corporate name SCANA is not an acronym, but is taken from the letters in South Carolina." but that didn't really mean much to me and clicking the two references didn't help (couldn't find any explanation to the name in either). I had other business with them via email and asked where there name came from and they responded "The name “SCANA” was chosen to reflect that we’re based in South Carolina. S is for the first letter in South. CA is for the first two letters in Carolina. NA is for the last two letters in Carolina." That is a much better answer to me than "is taken from letters in South Carolina". Should the page be updated? If so, I don't know how/if you can cite an email conversation. External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on SCANA. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.scana.com/en/company-profile/history/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}

- Noelsnibbor, Color me confused. The article doesn't say that Blevins is the CEO. I don't see his name in the article. S Philbrick(Talk) 15:42, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
