I think it would be nice to know a little bit about his personal life. Is he married? Does he have kids? Epachamo 19:33, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On April 14, 2008 Rulon was a guest on the Big O and Dukes radio show, which is so non-notable that RTPHOKIE had its page deleted from Wikipedia. He also guest-starred on Nash Bridges as a character named "Rulon". Of course, neither of these two events qualify for inclusion in Wikipedia, because they are simply facts, not references.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.77.67 (talk) 19:29, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a nice reference for more facts about Rulon

What's the source for married 4 times? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.150.65.51 (talk) 20:42, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"they are simply facts, not references" I don't understand the distinction you're attempting, many individuals have a section on their activities outside their primary career which would contain such a thing as the Nash Bridges guest appearance- though the radio spot is indeed not notable enough to bother.
On the personal life/marriage thing, maybe it should be clearer what his current status is if it bothers to go there at all. Maybe it shouldn't go there at all, as it appears it looks like he's a bigamist? Let's give the guy a break here, if it doesn't relate all the facts of an issue maybe it shouldn't be there at all.Batvette (talk) 23:02, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like he's a bigamist? How so? Is it merely because he lives in Utah that you assume he's a bigamist? He's been divorced three times http://www.deseretnews.com/article/660194227/Nine-minutes-How-the-Sydney-Olympics-changed-wrestler-Rulon-Gardners-life.html?pg=5 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.8.89.2 (talk) 21:11, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How has the defacement after "Rulon had a daughter who died in December 1990 after a car accident with his first wife Sheri.[3][4]" been inserted? I don't see it in the text to the page or history. Rufwork (talk) 02:13, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2000 Summer Olympics

[edit]

Seems like this category needs cleaned up as it mentions other subjects: 2004 Olympics, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rossidor (talkcontribs) 11:27, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
