My father spent many years working on the sodium chromoglycate (Intal). During the war Dr Altounan was in the RAF and apparently spent time instructing on Spitfires. He also won the AFC developing techniques for low flying that apparently was used by the dam busters. I do not see his name on the list of AFC (Air Force Cross) [Air Force Cross (United Kingdom)] and wondered if anyone can confirm this information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PJLHowell (talkcontribs) 20:50, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
