The old reservoirs on robinswood hill[edit]

We used to slide down the sides of the reservoirs on tin trays in the 1950s. What fun we had there. I know they were filled in and possibly landscaped but all the old character is gone. There was an old cottage halfway up the hill path where an old lady lived. She used to chat to us. We filled our bottles from the drinking fountain at the start of the hill path.

The start of the hill path was just opposite the Robinswood Hill Chippy. There was also a shop where we bought penny ice lollies before we started our climb to the Devil's Slide. 2A02:C7C:315D:9100:CDFC:CE06:CC39:70D7 (talk) 18:20, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
