Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (your reason here) --185.113.99.94 (talk) 15:18, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's an article about things that happens right now. The article is sparse and as far as i can see only includes information that can be easily confirmed. PS I'm not the author

Contested deletion[edit]

Hello. I believe this article should not be speedy deleted because it's a relevant article. A declaration of independence did take place, and whether this is successful or not is beside the point. There are similar articles about each one of the previous declarations, even though none of them were successful. --SuperSardus (talk) 15:22, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As stated above, this should not be deleted because of its relevance of current news.--1233Talk 15:26, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (it is relevant to current events and should be mantained to be completed with more informations that will be added in the near future based on how things will unfold.) --Bluewave256 (talk) 15:28, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is Estellada the flag of this newly-proclaimed entity?[edit]

Could someone confirm that the recent acts passed by the Catalan parlament specifically name and set Estellada as the flag of this self-proclaimed entity? In other cases, I think the old regional flag should be used until this is legally clear or no flag should be used at all. Anonymous reader

It's Estelada;) but you're right, that was a mistake. I fixed it and replaced it with the Catalan flag.SuperSardus (talk) 15:56, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

This is currently a double redirect, after the result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Catalan Republic (2017) (3rd nomination). Can an admin change this to redirect to Catalan declaration of independence? --Inops (talk) 16:06, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove {{this is a redirect}} from this page or, alternatively, add the appropriate rcats to it. Those sorting through Category:Miscellaneous redirects to answer requests for rcat help will never be able to clear this page from list unless they happen to be and administrator. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 07:24, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

See also User talk:Evad37/XFDcloser.js/Archive 3#Redirect closures and rcat shell. @Tavix: Mind taking care of this for me? — Godsy (TALKCONT) 09:23, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Godsy: Better yet, I've lowered protection to semi so you can RCAT it however you wish. This event is no longer current, so I don't see that edit war flaring back up. -- Tavix (talk) 13:46, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
