"The Regional Municipality of Haldimand-Norfolk was a regional municipality in the Canadian province of Ontario, which existed from 1974 to 2000. The population in 2001 was 104,670." There is just so much wrong with this; does anybody have any actual facts? I'm assuming that the comma after 'Ontario' is a typo - unless Ontario has ceased to exist? Also, if Haldimand-Norfolk ceased existing in 2000, then how does it have a population for 2001? Which of those facts is wrong? Anybody? 216.121.230.246 (talk) 22:56, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He, he; nice catch. I've removed the uncited population figure which was added in 2006 by an anon user. A cited figure should be available at StatsCan and properly referenced next time. Cheers! DoubleBlue (Talk) 23:27, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I propose that this article be merged with the history section of either Haldimand County or Norfolk County, with a link to the other county's article, on the grounds that anything that isn't about history would be better included in the appropriate article for the respective county.
