Birthdate

[edit]

According to Hindustan Times dated MAR 18, 2019 and Indian Express dated March 18, 2018, the subject was born on 18 March 1957. Many sources from today (her birthday) lists the same birth day and month HT, India TV, etc, - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:43, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@सौरभ तिवारी 05: Lallantop.com is not reliable. We have a list of websites that are considered reliable for Indian celebrities and for general purpose → WP:ICTF, WP:ICTFFAQ, WP:RSP. NOte that many sites like these, TellyChakkar, Bolywoodlife, etc. are not considered reliable. Only mainstream sites are considered reliable. Also see the above mainstream sources that are clear on her birthday and month. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 18:13, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like both dates, 7 August 1957 and 18 March 1957 are incorrect. As per the details, I found on internet, she has Indian citizenship. We can check her votter ID and few other things, if we have correct details. As I checked for few dates and with few variation of names. I didn't find any information. Which implies, she is not having Indian citizenship or we have wrong date of birth. There is no reliable source which tells us 7 August 1957 as her date of birth. ☆★Sanjeev Kumar (talk) 20:19, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@संजीव कुमार: According to mainstream reliable sources (WP:RS, WP:ICTF compliant), her birthday is on 18 March, as you can see in the above sources. Also a plethora of reliable sources wished her "Happy Birthday" yesterday (18 March 2021) [1] [2] [3] [4], India TV. Even she was wished yesterday on twitter [5]. Only the unreliable source Lallantop.com mentions anything like 7 August, though most "unreliable sources" like PinkVilla, StarUnfolded, CelebsCenter, IMDb maintain 18 March 1957 as her birthday. We will go by what reliable sources say. We do not need voterID and such, we are not playing investigative journalists. If the subject of the article herself comes out and says that she has a different birthday in a reliable media outlet, then only we are going to change it. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 07:05, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that what sources are saying. Twitter link can not be considered. ☆★Sanjeev Kumar (talk) 07:24, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@संजीव कुमार: Thanks. I provided the twitter link only to show the trend. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 07:28, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
