Prostate cancer

[edit]

The article states that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer five years before he died. Did he have treatment for it; if so, what? Did he recover from the cancer, or did he remain afflicted with it for the rest of his life? What was the cause of his death? Werdnawerdna (talk) 21:51, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've edited the article to show that he died of cancer (ref in the Guardian obituary). I don't think we are ever likely to know any info about treatment, he was a private person and such info will not be available.--UpDown (talk) 07:10, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
