Needed sections

[edit]

I very much have an opinion, so I'm not the best person to be adding things, but there needs to be some sort of "launch controversy" section listing the overwhelming media/user backlash against the split itself, backlash against the name, the failure to secure the @Qwikster twitter handle prior to launch, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.58.92.168 (talk) 21:45, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

[edit]

I think this page should be merged with Netflix. It will contain nothing of significant importance within 3 months. •Λmniarix• (talk) 13:30, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have no problem with the idea, as long as there's a redirect and the Qwikster debacle appears in the Netflix article (which it probably will anyway). -Rolypolyman (talk) 14:22, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think merging is a good idea as long as there is a redirect to the section.. Also I always seem to type "Quixster" so please keep that one too. --JeffryJohnston (talk) 15:07, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have no objection, but I will call to your attention that there is a category "Defunct consumer brands", which contains articles like New coke. TomS TDotO (talk) 16:03, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I support merger into Netflix article, since this brand actually was never launched with customers. Msw1002 (talk) 01:21, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
