Bifidobacterium animalis lactis HN019 (DR10™)

[edit]

Article name should be change to Bifidobacterium animalis lactis HN019 (DR10™) MalaysianHistoryChannel (talk) 06:45, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@MalaysianHistoryChannel I think it probably should not be an article at all and should be turned into a redirect to something like probiotic or to the company Fonterra. While this product has been reviewed in the cited journals, this alone is not evidence of notability. From WP:PRODUCT, the product should have significant coverage in secondary sources. A search of google scholar and google books turns up no results for "Probiotic Probio DR10" or for "Probio DR10". 🌿MtBotany (talk) 00:39, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Disagreed with the suggestion to redirect the article. The focus here is on the scientific and specific nature of Bifidobacterium animalis lactis HN019 (DR10™), which distinguishes it from general probiotics. This strain has unique characteristics and a specific context within the broader category of Bifidobacterium animalis. It warrants a dedicated discussion rather than a generic mention under probiotics or the any company. Therefore, renaming the article to Bifidobacterium animalis lactis HN019 (DR10™) and categorizing it under Bifidobacterium animalis seems more appropriate, providing a focused and scientifically accurate representation of the subject. Thank you for responding. Since there is a fundamental disagreement I will use the more formal process for determining if the content of this article is encyclopedic or not. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 04:01, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
