Chum

[edit]

"The company makes the market leaders Pedigree Chum..." Chum??? Isn't that fish guts they feed to sharks???

I think it's just generic "bits of meat" they feed to sharks. The dog food did used to be called Pedigree Chum but i think they changed the name, wouldn't know, not owning a dog. Oh and also Chum is an old-fashioned British word for "Friend", though it went out of use decades ago, except as a joke 82.153.230.130 18:33, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

U.S. Class Action Lawsuit Against Pedigree

[edit]

I came here to find info on the U.S. class action lawsuit against Pedigree. Apparently Pedigree blended road kill and dead lab animal with their collars still on (including dogs) in their wet food. That seemed to have killed many dogs. I think mine was one of them. I still have more than half of the case of Pedigree canned food as my dog got sick fairly quickly. Anyone have any info?70.79.50.5 (talk) 04:00, 11 July 2010 (UTC)BeeCier[reply]

What a mess

[edit]

Someone redirected Kal Kan to Whiskas. I decided to investigate and things are much more confusing than that. I don't know if, using Wikipedia guidelines, this can ever be resolved.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:37, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And now it's even more of a mess. Alfonso Ribeiro is showing me and what I did. Bad! Bad!— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:49, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Someone really needs to follow me around with a shovel or a plastic bag. But they need to go into ALL the related articles.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 21:51, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's not much better but someone suggested I use Funding Universe's history of Kal Kan as a source. Take a look at User:Vchimpanzee/Kal Kan Foods. It's possible a lot of that can be used here. Some might work better in the Whiskas article. I am concerned I haven't done enough to change to wording, but it's not technically a copyright problem. I'm just asking for suggestions right now. Someone could even look at the source and see what else could be added and how.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 17:22, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
