Here are the issues I found:

"Burns, nicknamed "Oyster" because he sold shellfish in the off-season" any more on that offseason note? It's interesting, but after the one lead sentence there was nothing in the body of the article.
"Wilmington Quicksteps (1894)," the later parts say 1884, which I assume is what you meant.
"but left the team after they had joined " 'had' can be removed here.
"he was later fined $25" adding the inflation template here is recommended, but since it's not a contract situation this is optional for me.
"After the 1891 season, " anything of note about Burns that year, even stat-wise? 1894 as well, since those two years seem skipped over.

Everything fixed. Nothing added on 1891 season; stats are pretty average and mundane. Added some on the 1894 season. The refs I found said nothing more than the note already said. Albacore (talk) 16:43, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
