Cost column

[edit]

I'm not sure that this table is wholly encyclopedic, especially the cost column (in US$ ?). I've left it here so that if others feel it should be inculded it can easily be replaced. Inner Earth 14:01, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

This article needs a better title, since most of what it discusses is not actually organ replacement but prosthetics and transfusions (unless you want to include transfusions as organ replacement). It doesn't even have info on the one type of organ transplant somewhat commonly done in vet medicine - kidney transplants in cats. I'm not sure what a better title would be, though. --Joelmills 21:17, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These links appear questionable, though there may be some that could be used as reliable sources. SilkTork *YES! 10:44, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Micahel Lysaght passed in 2009. Links to him in this article, as well as links to other organ-related information for companion animals are defunct. Jan 16 2024. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8001:14F0:80:2CE7:9F02:4EA0:245E (talk) 05:15, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
