Yes, but as the article on the author rightly notes its title was (of course) not originally in English, but was La fin du monde (1893 or 1894?). Omega: The Last Days of the World is the name it's known under now so far as it's known at all (thanks to redistribution at Internet Archive, Librivox, as well as the 1931 film, I should imagine.)
