Multiple Issues Tags

I note that this article was tagged with the following issues two years ago:

Wikipedia is not a Soapbox
Conflict of Interest
Puffery
Irrelevant Citing

I am considering removing all of these article-wide flags as some of these issues have already been discussed and fixed, and all conversations have been dormant. Are there any other opinions? Beta7 (talk) 06:30, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

Closure of the campus in 1970

The following text I added was removed as unsourced. I would like to state here that I believe it should be included. Perhaps someone in Athens could look it up in local sources. My wife was a student at Ohio University in 1970.

On May 5, 1970, the campus was closed and all students told to leave within 24 hours, a result of Vietnam War protests and the May 4th massacre at sister university Kent State. Earlier that day the Ohio National Guard used tear gas to dissolve anti-war protests on the campus, although no bullets were fired. The campus was reopened for the fall semester.

Hi all,
It would appear to me that Notable Ohio University faculty fails the WP:SALAT guidelines.
Do you think it would be better to include that content in the Ohio University#Noted people section?
I suggest these possible subsections:

  • ===Notable Ohio University faculty===
  • ===Distinguished professors===
