Superfluous material

[edit]

I have been editing this page to put it into encyclopedic form following WP conventions. I have removed much unsupported material and added some new material. I am dealing now with the large section on applications to cyclic quadrilaterals and find myself in a quandary. I do not think that this material is actually providing any information about the topic of the page and is only being used to highlight a specific published paper. These results are too technical for the general article and certainly the proofs do not shed any information on the Newton-Gauss line. I would remove it all, but that would leave a very sparse article, barely at the start class. I'll continue the copyediting, but would appreciate some thoughts on the aptness of the section.--Bill Cherowitzo (talk) 19:39, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
