Timeline

[edit]

The article doesn't make it very clear when the story of the movie fits into the anime episodes list. The previous movies have specific points in the storyline when they happened. E.g. Movie 1 is right after episode 101, and Movie 2 is right after episode 160. This article only mentions that the movie was released after episode 196 and was promoted in the anime on episodes 197-199. Anyone knows exactly when this movie takes place? Consider adding it to the article, please.--189.39.33.244 (talk) 01:20, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stop

[edit]

Whoever keeps adding the sentance "Why does Sakura and Lee get a new skill?! NARUTO is my fav char and itz not fair!" should stop. It is getting annoying.72.240.200.97 19:41, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OMFG COPYING!!!!!!!!!!

[edit]

http://www.narutohq.com/naruto-movie-3.php <<<<<THIS WAS CLEARLY TAKEN OF THIS SITE!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.31.167.29 (talkcontribs) .

OMFG, better? There's really no need for such ridiculous emoting. A simple copyvio warning would have sufficed. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 06:44, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

sorry, um im a noob at this wiki stuff just helping out XD

Well, you pointed out the copyvio, so it's ok. Just remember to be a little more serious (or less crazy, whatever you prefer) next time. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 00:19, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Release Date

[edit]

When is this movie being released for DVD?--Emokid200618 21:56, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If we knew that, don't you think it would be on the page? Don't ask questions we can't answer. It's just annoying. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 22:01, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added some skills

[edit]

Hey, I added Kakashi's two new non-verbal jutsus, and Naruto's enhanced "Moon" rasengan, or whatever you want to christen it. Just wanted to check if that was kosher. Itachi1uchiha

Gates?

[edit]

Was Lee opening the Gates during his fight in this movie or did his face just turn red for no adequately explained reason? His page doesn't specify, so I figured I'd ask here.67.167.181.126 12:59, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He doesn't announce it, but it seemed obvious in context that he opened around three gates. –Gunslinger47 17:51, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Improving this article

[edit]

I'm going to give a list of things that would help upgrade this article to a B-Class grade or even better.

  • Criticism and reception: How well did the movie do at the box office? What about DVD sells? What reviews did it get? What significant criticism or complaints were there?
  • Production: Who, what, where, why, how long, and how much?
  • Continuity errors: How would the movie fit into the overall timeline of the series? What errors where made between the movie, the manga, and the TV series? What there any explanations for these errors by the writers or director?
  • Influences: Where did the story originate? Was the story based on previous works or borrowed elements from previous works? What other influences did the writer or director acknowledged? Did the move have any affect on the manga or TV series? What about on other movies and anime or manga series?

Some of this information is going to be hard to find, but it is what is needed to push this article beyond Start-class. --Farix (Talk) 00:50, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Even though I fit the classic definition of a "WikiGnome" ^^, I'm going to try and research some stuff out. But this will take a while--it'd be so much better if I spoke Japanese. IceUnshattered (talk) 18:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Naruto the Movie 3 site.png

[edit]

Image:Naruto the Movie 3 site.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Picture Replacement

[edit]

I think the picture should be replaced with the American DVD cover. The current picture is just a cropped movie poster, it doesn't even show the whole thing. Plus, there is no explanation for fair use for the current picture, so it may have to go anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.87.69.48 (talk) 03:09, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
