Anachronisms

[edit]

It seems somehow appropriate that someone from Pat Robertson's "university" (footnote 6) would be so thick-headed as to miss the subtle joke at Idaho's expense. Everything in Idaho is 20 years behind the times. That was the point :D

The whole second paragraph under "Background" -- let me say it first -- Whooooosh !!

Peer review

[edit]

I've listed this article for peer review because it looks pretty close to Good Article status. I wanted someone to give it some constructive feedback.

Hi @The lorax! Some points after a quick read. Ping me if you'd like to say anything:
  • Take note of MOS:SEASON in the lead. When in 2003 did filming take place? Did the entirety of filming only take place in July 2003?
  • Some parts in "Filming and setting" seem to depend on quotes, such as one paragraph on the film being autobiographical. You can paraphrase, add context to the quotes (how does Hess's family background influence the film being autobiographical?) or add info that describe production with minimal use of quotes.
  • Not sure if elaborating "Preston, in southeastern Idaho, located near the Utah border" is necessary.
  • Check the wording in "relied on the generosity" of Preston locals.
  • I recommend checking WP:CRS, if there are other reviews accessible. I'm currently checking on alternatives for the four Entertainment Weekly critic ratings.
  • Best if there are sources for "Awards"
