Date of birth

I have been unable to find the Variety article cited in the lead. The link in the citation goes to the Wikipedia article Variety Obituaries, which did not help with verification. Thus far, my online searches for her obituary in Variety have been fruitless. I wanted to check that source because a newly cited newspaper article from 1929 gives her date of birth as November 19, 1906, and her then-current age as 23. Maybe that was just an attempt to make her appear younger at the time.

If an editor can improve the citation with a link to the actual obituary in Variety, that would be good. Eddie Blick (talk) 19:41, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I just found this article in a 1930 fan magazine that also gives her date of birth as November 19, 1906. It is used for a horoscope; I don't know what that says about its reliability. Eddie Blick (talk) 21:18, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
