Spelling of airport name

[edit]

Does anyone know if it's Muhammed or Mohammed? 60.240.150.156 15:31, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's the latter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wakemann (talkcontribs) 19:54, 15 August 2006
As per the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, it is Murtala Muhammed. -- Zyxw (talk) 19:31, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted reference

[edit]

There was an article revision here which cited a reference for DANA Air (reference number 7). It was subsequently removed and I am not sure why. I haven't put it back in the article but I thought I would make a note of it here. -AndrewBuck (talk) 14:30, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incidents

[edit]

Why are the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961, and the Kenya Airways Flight 431 flights listed as incidents for this airport? These flights did not originate or land at the MMA. I am of the opinion the incidents should be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Akinsope (talkcontribs) 08:01, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The incidents still include the Ethiopian Airlines and Kenya Airways flights from above. Given these flights did not land at or take off from Lagos, is there a good reason, rule or precedence that is being followed justifying their inclusion here. Akinsope (talk) 18:43, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted Ethiopian Airlines and Kenya Airways incidents as they did not occur at Lagos, neither did the flights originate or land at Lagos.Akinsope (talk) 17:16, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

destinations Houston and Washington

[edit]

I'm confused by this edit, which changed the start date of "11 November 2011" to "11 November", stating that the year was unnecessary, because the next November 11 is in 2011? There should still be a year.. Wikipedia is sometimes out of date, so if there is no year some people may think it's 2010, or earlier. There's no harm in adding the year. Mlm42 (talk) 16:43, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:Airports page content, states that no year needed if start date is less than 13 months. Please discuss there and gain new consensus. Snoozlepet (talk) 23:19, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
