Wikipedia must have a voice about the munus petrinum who is the biblical, dogmatic, theological and juridical foundation of the charisma of saint Peter who is expressed in the apostolic authority (auctoritas) of the primacy of the Roman Pontiff. Without the biblical, dogmatic, theological and juridical meaning of munus petrinum it is easy to misunderstand the primacy of the Vicar of Christ and Successor of Peter for risk to be interpreted exclusivily in a political conception like a papal supremacy. Primacy has not the seam meaning of papacy. The concept of papacy is a medieval word (see G. Tellenbach, Papatus, in Cristianità ed Europa. Miscellanea di studi in onore di Luigi Prosdocimi, I/1, a cura di C. Alzati, Roma-Freiburg-Wien 1994, 47-58), the meaning of primacy is biblical-dogmatic-theological-juridical. For the right meaning of munus petrinum you can see the Pope Audience of 24 february 1993.Mikejos.ssp (talk) 09:59, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
