Merger discussion
[edit]Request received to merge articles: Canary Girls into Munitionette; dated: November 2019. Proposer's Rationale: Canary Girls article explicitly states in the lead that the two are the same thing “These women were also referred to by the nickname "munitionettes"“. I suggest this direction of merge because all Canary Girls were munitions workers but not all women munitions workers developed the yellow skin to make them Canary Girls. Please discuss here. - Oppose. Both of these are notable topics. Not all munitions workers worked with TNT and unless they worked with TNT, they're outside the scope of "canary girls". One of these topics is on female munition workers, the other is on a specific health complaint which some, but far from all of them, suffered. Andy Dingley (talk) 12:10, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Andy Dingley: thanks Andy - I’ve attempted a tidy up to better distinguish the two based on what you said, please do chip in! Zeromonk (talk) 19:04, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
