Netherfield
[edit]Could someone in the know correct the railway line diagram at the top of the page please? The line didn't go to Netherfield, Nottinghamshire. From Mountsorrel the line went across the Soar Valley to Barrow on Soar where it joined with the mainline, as it says in the article. I have no idea how to display this correctly on the diagram. Thanks. Georgethe23rd (talk) 21:25, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Now changed to Barrow upon Soar in the diagram Cboomf (talk) 09:36, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Ownership
[edit]Could some clarification be given please - the Midland opened the railway from Barrow in 1860, but when it is extended to meet the new construction of the Great Central, who owns it, or is it a joint working venture between Midland & GCR or simply a private railway? - Reference 3 (scroll down to the article about the railway) states that it was a private railway. 🌾palmipedTalk 14:51, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
