This page is about a very important palace in the old and recent and contemperory Egyptian history.--Ashashyou (talk) 06:03, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article name

[edit]

The current official name seems to be "Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum" [1], although I found as many versions as sources, including "Mahmoud Khalil Museum", "The Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil & His Wife Museum" (Cairo 360), "Mr & Mrs Mahmoud Khalil Museum" (Lonely Planet). Spelling of Mohammed is also inconsistent. --Elekhh (talk) 05:28, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes no mention of museum in the title is awkward. The BBC have been calling it the 'Mahmoud Khalil Museum' and even in the same article the 'Khalil Museum'. Maybe entering two re-direction names might help, based on the BBC names. Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil palace should direct to 'Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil Museum'. What do Cairo natives call it?
