Tone of Article
[edit]Tone of article seems simplistic and poorly written. It seems to belong on simple.wikipedia. perhaps witten by a gang member? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.174.142.88 (talk) 04:31, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yes: perhaps at least explain the term 'turf', which I'd label 'crimespeak'.2001:44B8:3102:BB00:751D:2A2:B6EF:A11 (talk) 00:05, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
Scene of crime
[edit]Would pictures of the scene of the crime be good for this article. I am going to takes shots and add them in Adam (talk) 22:46, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
This picture is a copyright photo of the scene taken shortly after the event. It's available under Australia's fair use laws but I don't think WP allows that. If you could take a picture of the carpark from around the same spot as this picture was taken it would be a good addition to the article. Wayne (talk) 08:33, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
RfC started to discuss replacing Criminal Org Infobox with Org Infobox
[edit]Please comment on an RfC to replace Template:Infobox Criminal organization with Template:Infobox Organization for active motorcycle clubs. Thanks! --Dbratland (talk) 20:39, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Removal of Section
[edit]This stuff by Ms. Francis has no place in this article in any way. If you followed the link she gave as far as I did you'll know what I mean. This appears to me to be blatant use of Wikipedia as a Soapbox. See WP:NOT, WP:SOAP, NOT#OR, WP:NPOV etc.

Massacre
[edit]Why was it called a "massacre", as the article does not say? Apart from one innocent, the rest of those killed were armed, warring parties who specifically decided to fight and shoot one another. So sounds more like a feud than a massacre... Socrates2008 (Talk) 11:57, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- While in a strictly technical sense it wasn't a massacre, it is the term that seems to be most commonly used to describe the incident. A quick Google search seems to agree. You have to remember that in 1984 Australia, seven people being shot dead was mind-blowing (to use a not very encyclopaedic word!). It no doubt seemed like a massacre at the time (this was before Hoddle St, Strathfield, Queen St etc). Tigerman2005 (talk) 02:02, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
POV
[edit]The article seems to promote the point of view of Colin Campbell. This is concerned taken with the lack of citations. It is also hard to understand how the thinking of Jock Ross on the day could be known given that he has brain damage — in any case, again, it has no source.--Jack Upland (talk) 10:09, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
