Consectuive games played
[edit]The fact that Michael Young has played a year and a half without missing a game is not notable enough to warrent inclusion in this encyclopedia. The wiki page for MLB consecutive games played streaks only displays players with over 700 consectutive games played and this page should also adhear to that number. 4 years (162x4=648) might be a better number, but TONS of players have not missed a game in the last year and a half. The MLB consecutive games played streaks only lists the top fifteen consecutive games streaks of all time. The fact that Michael Young has played in 285 consecutive games(as of 5-4-07) is notable since it is the third longest active consecutive games streak behind Mark Teixeira(477) and Miguel Tejada (1111).
I changed the picture because it seems to only be put on the site as a joke. We need a real picture of Michael Young, not a funny one like that was up on the site.
Daily updates
[edit]What is the point of updating the stats every single day? It seems like a waste of time. People can find that information at many, many other places and I don't see any other Wikipedia pages on sports players that are updated anywhere near as frequently. Cacophony 15:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Poorly Written
[edit]This article is poorly written. The grammatical structure of the paragraph that begins with "During the 2010-11 offseason," is laughable. And what's with that whole bit about YouTube? Sounds like a complete farce, especially when there's no citation given at all. I'm not sure how one goes about displaying the boxes at the top of the article that say the page needs to be cleaned up to Wikipedia standards, but that sounds appropriate in this situation, in my opinion.
Edited: I figured out how to add the boxes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.43.90.206 (talk) 16:43, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
